Each NoVPS project needs an active subscription. The base subscription fee allows you to use the NoVPS platform and features included in the tier of your subscription. The subscription fee goes towards your usage-costs on the platform.

Included usage

The Hobby plan includes $10 of resource usage per month.

If your total resource usage at the end of your billing period is $10 or less, you will not be charged for resource usage. If your total resource usage exceeds $10 you will need to add extra credits.

Included resource usage is reset at the end of every billing cycle and does not accumulate over time.

Similarly, the Advanced plan includes $40 of resource usage per month and the same examples and billing logic apply. If your usage stays within $40, you'll only pay the subscription fee. If it exceeds $40, you'll will need to add extra credits to cover the difference on top of the subscription.

Extra credits

If the amount of credits in your subscription is insufficient, you can purchase extra credits.

The cost of additional credits is $1 per 1 extra credit. For your convenience, the credit balance within the control panel is displayed in dollars.

When you purchase extra credits, they are automatically added to your subscription. Thus, at the beginning of the next billing period, your card will be charged an amount equal to the cost of the subscription + extra credits.

For example, you purchased the Hobby plan, received $10 credits, and deployed two applications with a monthly cost of $15. In order for the applications to continue working, you purchase additional credits for $5. At the beginning of the next billing period, $15 (the cost of the Hobby plan + $5 additional credits) will be charged to your card.

If you no longer need extra credits, you can remove them from your subscription or reduce their number. The change will take effect at the beginning of the next billing period.
